Title: LIFE OVER THE REEF
Size: 1220 x 1220 cm
Canvas / Acrylic / Traditional
This painting gives us a detailed close up look at life over the reef.
Starting from the outside edge of the painting and by moving inward the curved lines. The cross hatching “Raarrk” designed in white, yellow and red ochre. This is the waves coming inward and crashing over the great rocks. The rocks are the four oval shapes facing inward from each side. The white at the edge is the white foam after the zigzag across the black background is the water running off. Leaving the small oval strip shape. These are like clams that live on the rocks.
Birds also standing on the rocks singing knowing food is on the incoming tide, small reef fish and turtle in the calmer parts of the reef. Finally, the white band around the middle is the low waterline mark.
