This story is about the mythology of the Djang’Kawu Sisters, journeying across the land and sea coming to rest at one of the many waterholes they have found on their long journey from East to West. One of the sisters is with child, on the left hand side of the sacred stone showing their walking sticks below, the rising and setting sun over the sacred stone. Above the sun is the rock codfish called (Burramitjpa). Bottom half of this painting is the paddle used to help transport their way to this sacred place. This paddle is also used as a digging stick, to keep this waterhole open and clean.
