In 1990 the Elcho Island collection was painted by members of the
Galiwinku community
Valley of the Giants Gallery exhibits established, emerging and Indigenous Art and is the studio of D.J. Brennan.
Des has extensively traveled Australia drawing, painting, sculpturing and recorded the landscape that resulted in many exhibitions and commissions. Des has lectured at Western Australia University Summer Schools, run workshops and private tutoring. In 1990 Des lived on Elcho Island Arnhem Land Northern Territory Australia, working with the Aboriginal Art Community.
